Today I awoke to tons of tiny plant sprouts! We have every color, except purple and pink. Yesterday was also a very eventful day. I got new seeds and a new sprouting kit. I am up to about 13 requests-keep them coming! We are super excited to get you your cartons!

Wow. Today was...huge. Cartons of Color got featured on Kens5 and in the Keystone Communique. Currently we have nine requests so far...yay! And today was big. Today the seeds started sprouting, three, but I think that tomorrow there will be a few more!
The link to the Kens5 clip is here: 4th Grader Hopes to Spread Color in a Dark Time None of the plants have sprouted yet (crossing our fingers), but the fast-growing plants sprouted after about three days, and that's tomorrow. Tomorrow I am also going to water the plants very well, because they have been drying out very quickly. (Hopefully that means that they're growing!)
The plants that survive take root very well! I have included a few pictures of the best plants that have taken root. I planted the rest of the plants today, and they got watered with the rain that was pouring down this morning. I also have 5 requests so far, and have gotten into the Keystone Communique! Things are going well!
Here are the pictures of the surviving plants: Today I replanted the slow growing plants! Yay! I watered and placed them inside. Growing seems to be doing well.
Today I did not get the plants planted 😣, but tomorrow I am going to plant the slow growing ones and on Tuesday I am going to plant the fast growing plants. I watered the prototype I am growing though. It has not started sprouting yet.
Today I popped out all the vinegar infested pods, and planted a few plants. I'm going to do some more tomorrow, in the bins. I'm aiming to get this website done by the end of the week, and if you're reading this, I did. Who survived the night? To be honest, not many. I learned that I had to plant the pods below ground, that's where they take root.
First-my backyard is not a very good place to transplant. We don't have much land to plant in, and we have small pots...
Today we transplanted all of the ones that are too big, which is all of them other than the Sunflower Velvet Queen, leaving us with not much of a product. :( |
